When I jump on calls with business owners around this time of year, there's a common theme.
"I can't keep going like I am. I need to get something set up to work for me and help ease the load."
Different people, different businesses, but the same feeling.
The tricky thing is, those kinds of goals always sound big and far away when they're written in your annual planner. "I want next year to feel totally different." "I want to be XYZ by this time next year."
Big goals are great. But they only become real when you zoom in on the timeline and the next few steps. If you make a few key changes now, you're not waiting until January 2027 to feel the difference. You start feeling it within a few weeks, and it compounds over the rest of the year.
The stick-person timeline
I've sketched a very fancy (read: extremely basic) stick-person timeline to explain it visually.
It looks something like this:
- Now: Overloaded, lots of things in your head, new year resolutions slipping away, systems held together with duct tape and goodwill.
- 30 days from now: A clearer main offer path, a few bottlenecks removed, some key processes mapped out and already in action.
- 90 days from now: Less manual admin, more repeatable delivery, a customer journey that's starting to feel intentional and easy.
- End of 2026, into 2027: Offers and systems that actually work for you, more breathing room, perhaps even a relaxing festive-season getaway, and a business you can grow without burning yourself out.
When you look at it that way, the question stops being "how do I fix everything by 2026?" and becomes "what do I need to clean up in the next 30 days so the rest of the year feels lighter and more profitable?"
For most people I talk to, that comes down to a few things:
- Too many offers or options, and not enough of a clear "main path" to buy.
- Tools and platforms that don't really talk to each other.
- A customer journey that kind of "just happened" instead of being intentionally designed.
A real example: Lyn and Mike
Here's a recent example of what's possible when you decide to fix this. Lyn and Mike from Zento Global run a B2B leadership coaching program over Zoom, with global client cohorts.
Before we worked together, they were teaching the same topics over and over to different business groups, but everything was in their heads. Each cohort got slightly altered versions, the slide decks were built bespoke every time, time zones were being juggled, and everything lived in live calls and email threads. There was no easy way to track who had actually engaged with the material or to measure the impact, and the prep for each round was huge.
In September 2025, we:
- Packaged up their knowledge into a structured 12-month program.
- Set up a manageable recording schedule so they could create assets without burning out.
- Moved their onboarding, resources, content delivery, progress emails and live-session admin into a more systemised flow.
Within a few months:
- Prep time for each cohort dropped from 30+ hours to less than 5.
- They had a clear, packaged program that was easy to show and sell to other B2B clients.
- Their B2B client onboarding became almost entirely automated, freeing up time to promote and onboard more clients without being the bottleneck.
- Their B2B clients are raving about having their own branded corporate leadership program to grow their people and businesses.
- They suddenly had the confidence (and structure) to explore a B2C version with only light tweaks.
Same expertise. Same people. Different system and strategy.
That's the kind of shift I want for more business owners heading into the rest of 2026.
Kate is excellent at what she does. She helped us build Zento Academy's Leadership Path for founders, leaders and leadership teams in Kajabi, and made the process simple! She listens, understands what you need, and gets work done fast. She communicates clearly and stays on top of the details. She is also well connected inside Kajabi with the right contacts to influence outcomes and find answers fast. I trust her advice and her execution. I would happily recommend Kate to anyone who wants a smooth Kajabi setup and a reliable partner.

If you're reading this thinking "that's me…"
If this is resonating, you might recognise yourself in one or more of these:
- You're teaching or delivering the same things over and over, but it mostly lives in your head, scattered docs or email threads.
- You know your offers are good, but the path from "finds you" to "buys from you" feels messy or fragile.
- You're already at (or close to) capacity and can't keep adding manual admin or bespoke work just to grow.
- You want 2026 to feel very different to the end of 2025, and you're ready to clean up your offers and systems in the next 30 to 90 days.
If that's you, the next step isn't to build a giant new product or overhaul your whole tech stack. It's to map what you already have, clean up the main buying path, and decide what needs to be systemised first.
How I help people do this
This is exactly why I created my Offer Optimisation Audit (OOA) sessions. It's a 60-minute strategy call where we:
- Map out your current offers and the path from "finds you" to "buys from you".
- Audit your platforms, tools and automations.
- Spot the friction points and leaks in your customer journey.
- Turn all of that into a focused 30-day action plan you can actually follow.
The goal is simple: to help you stop feeling like you "can't keep going like this" and start feeling like your offers and systems are finally working for you.
If you'd like me to walk through your business with you and create that 30-day plan, you can read more and book an Offer Optimisation Audit here. You don't need to have anything tidied up beforehand. Come as you are, messy systems and all.
And if you're more of a visual person, imagine my little stick-person timeline as your future self cheering you on when you take those first few clean-up steps.
Let's get your business ready for 2027 you.
